Olga Medvedeva-Vassilnitski is a graduate of the Mstera College of Fine and Applied Arts. She is a member of International Association of Fine Arts, Artists '"Union and Graphic Artists'"League of Russia. The artist's range is wide-from classical, folksy Russian to contemporary modernist style. Her work surprises in its variety of themes and techniques, as well as originality of color solutions. Batik, watercolor, oil, bead embroidery, pastels, collage, decorative interior-this is only a partial list of the artist's creative pursuits. Medvedeva-Vassilnitski's work has been widely exhibited in Russia and abroad. She's a recipient of numerous awards and her paintings can be found in private collections in Germany, France, Switzerland and Russia. In Germany, the artist exhibited in Izerlohn, Aachen and Berlin. Some of this artist's conceptual renderings have been applied to the interior design of the VIP hotel "Green Hill" developed for the 2014 Olympic Games in the city of Sochi. |
